Has anyone installed the Westcott pre loaded collars on their pro
Sponsored
I installed them and love the look they provided and the ride quality was unaffected (in my case). I did, however, have Westcott Designs install them.Has anyone installed the Westcott pre loaded collars on their pro
I have pics posted on this thread (https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/trd-pro-suspension-comfort.9995/page-2#post-129263). I kept the factory wheels, but I swapped the factory tires for Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35/12.5.Do you have any pics before and after and did you stay with factory size tire
Thank you, Ray! Curious to learn what you end up doing to your Pro. Keep us updated. Thanks for sharing that looks real nice
In order to get the 35s to fit, I had to remove the crash pads and the mudguards, otherwise no rubbing at all. I came across a Youtube post recently of some dude trying to squeeze 35s onto his Pro, he couldn't do it without having to trim. I'd rather remove the crash pads rather than start cutting into the body. I know there's some guys that hate on the Westcott preload collar lift, but I'm glad I did it. Jeff Westcott personally called me and explained everything to me before he had his crew do the install.Man those pics of your pro has me leaning real hard to get it done , did you have to remove crash pads or anything else
