What exactly did you do?
I ordered the parts listed by Dr Tron.
Unclipped the airbox.
Removed the air filter. It takes some wiggling to free it from the RAI connector.
Removed the RAI connector via the two bolts.
Removed the rubber cover on the lower inlet port on the air box.
Placed the new cover on side inlet port.
Placed the U-shaped duct on the lower inlet port.
Took some pictures.
Connected the shroud to the U-shaped duct.
Placed the airbox in the truck
Clipped the air box in place
Inserted the push clips into shroud to fasten to the truck.
Immediately took the wife for a drive and she was pleased. ?

Installed the TRD intake . What a huge difference and just what I was looking for. Now if I could only find a way to cover hole in the fender from the RAI so I could pull it as well.

If you figure out a cover let me know! I went the Stillen route which I also love.

Thanks Dr Tron, I just pulled the middle RAI piece between the rubber elbow and upper RAI (that attaches to the A-pillar). I was hoping that it would quite the airbox noise but not so much (way better than stock though). I was just thinking that I wish I had a TRD pro sitting next to my TH so I could see if the parts would swap.
Do you have a before/after pic of the airbox mod?
Thanks agin Dr Tron for chasing this mod down. Now we just need someone to 3D print a cover for the fender and I'll take off the snorkel piece.

I am not sure how this attaches to the truck. Do you think it would be possible to easily attach this to a non-trail hunter, or is it drilling required? I am local to you and thought this would be a major benefit on these dusty roads.
