I've noticed with every Toyota I've owned they seem to have a sweet spot around 60MPH where fuel efficiency is best. Driving my normal 30 mile grocery run on 55MPH roads driving around 60, I was able to get the mileage up to 22.7 (Dash reading). On the highway with mixed 25 miles at 70-73 and 5 miles city, I've been averaging around 20.4 (Dash Reading). This is Air Dam on.
Is that in full time/AWD or in 2wd?

So far I have a 4×4 Off Road and doing 60 MPH and getting around 19.5 MPG on normal/Sport and 23 MPG on ECO. Not bad at all, doing up hill and straight. Smooth transition and no lacking each time during the speed change. Cruise Control are really handy when set at the right speed. TEXAS got about 60-75 speed limit. Good for long drive and enjoy the view

Did a 1250 mile run this weekend.

First day numbers:

MPG in 4H: 17.4mpg at an average 78mph

MPG in 2H: 19.3mpg at an average 76mph

I didn't reset the total average MPG meter until I had finished my first day running, so that hurt my numbers there. I reset for the second day.

Second day numbers:

MPG in 2H: 21.7mpg at an average 79mph

Still working out how to get the mileage up, but that's probably just gonna be from more effecient driving.

I had used 4H to slowly and safely get out of Indiana because I am not confident in snow as a Texan lolol, and once I was on normal road conditions I didn't turn 4H off until I hit Nashville.

There was a test done on a YouTube post where they attempted to accurately measure with/without the air dam. Probably not conclusive, but as I recall it was about .7/miles/gallon difference. Regardless, I would take the ugly air dam off!
If it made 1-2 mpg gain I could understand it, but I'm surprised at the overengineering for such a negligible gain. Then again probably trying to hit some emissions target with a part they have to know many owners will rip right off.

Have driven 240 miles in city driving on first tank of gas in ECO mode and am getting 19.9 MPG. Going to try a tank on Normal mode next and then sport.

Impressive for city driving and not a hybrid. In addition to ECO mode, were you light on the pedal? Looking forward to the results from Normal and Sport.

I have a 2022 Tundra, I get about 14 mpg :(
But I came from a 2019 Tundra that got 11 mpg lol. Same route, mixed driving

Hoping to get much better in the Tacoma

I just filled up for my second time, first one was on the dealer and have logged 6oo miles or two full tanks. I drove this last one to ~6 miles of range left of mostly highway driving and got 325 miles of gentle driving out of the tank for an average of 21.7mpg reported by the Gage and my calculation. I stop pumping on the first click and it took 14.985 gallons. The hours driven on that tank were 8:34 for an average speed of 38mph. I averaged 18.5mpg on my first full tank of heavy freeway traffic for a total of 271 miles on that tank 7 miles left on that tank and the first click was a fill up of 14.774 gallons. It's safe to assume that each fill up from the end of the range warning will be ~14.9 gallons with a usable range of anywhere between 270 and 325 miles to the tank. All of my driving was in ECO mode and not really going into the boost. I think the main reason I got so little range on that first tank was because the dealer may have not completely filled the tank and he probably beat on it a little on the way back from the station.

Mpg looks solidly better than 3G but would've liked even fewer fill ups with a larger tank.
