The conversation was about brakes. You decided to focus on something irrelevant to you, so you could be judgemental and rude. Go kick your dog, yell at kids in your neighborhood, or whatever you people do.
Rather presumptuous of you.

"Thanks for the input, I'm just curious, was their a reason related to the vehicle we share that pushes you to not wear your seatbelt or is it a personal matter?" That's how a reasonable, healthy human being asks thats question. Starting with "Ummmm...what?" Is how you let someone know you're about to be condescending and judgmental. It's not a presumption, it's an accurate interpretation of communication.

If I came across as condescending and judgemental, I apologize. That was not my intent. I was surprised, and genuinely curious about your situation, so I asked in a casual way that was supposed to be conversational. I obviously failed at that.

I support anyone's rights to take calculated risks. I do the same for my hobbies - I spent the afternoon rallying around on my dirt bike, and that's because the mountains lack enough snow to send myself down them on a board.

Again, I apologize for my tone.

The T24A-FTS does very little engine braking. It's just too small to have any pushback on a 4500lb truck (lightest spec).

The 1GR in comparison would make my 6MT TRD Sport nose dive if you let off in 5th gear on the freeway.

Not a problem to be honest, it is what it is, but yeah brake wear will happen.

Drums also have a lot more material than the small discs we got on the rear of the 4G.

Don't use ACC or lane assist.
Today the dealership told me the fronts are at 9mm and the rears are 3-4mm.
$375 for new pads alone HA.
