thanks Soupy! Got mine installed today, also measuring that at about 35 1/2”.35 3/4"
it’s looking fresh on the underground. Looks like around 3/4” of sag on the rear wheels.

Here in Canada the ‘24 Tacomas did not come with the rear view mirror or automatic tailgate. I’m not sure about the ‘25s though.Do you have the rearview camera mirror? How does it work with a cap on?
Here's a shot of the mirror with the SmartCap. You lose about 20%. You need to adjust the settings in the mirror.Do you have the rearview camera mirror? How does it work with a cap on?
My 2024 Trailhunter has both in Canada. Maybe it’s just a model options thing. Here in Canada the ‘24 Tacomas did not come with the rear view mirror or automatic tailgate. I’m not sure about the ‘25s though.
They do.Positive pressure vent is standard on SmartCaps, no?
That's stinkin' light.They do.
The Smartcaps are lighter than fiberglass caps. If I recall, mine is 160 pounds. Powder coated stainless steel.

Clever comment. So what made you go w/ SmartCap vs other options, despite SmartCaps big price tag?
Thanks. I think you are misinterpreting my q's intent- I was not implying you bought it for status/price ("despite" - not because) - the opposite. I was asking it this way: we know they are pricey, and you stepped up anyway - just looking for your reasons why (for my own shopping)?Clever comment.
So, I didn't buy one because they're expensive. Perhaps that's on your menu, but not mine.
