Installed my Smartcap back in March and after a couple months I still love it. I’ve been waiting on the back ordered RSI load bars and finally went with the Big Country load bars instead after Off-road Alliance recommended them. Couldn’t be happier.

Nice truck. I haven't seen that color before.

I suspect they are the same doors on both the 5' and 6' bed models.

I don't know what Jsuber thinks, but the doors are significantly larger than the windoors on my old Leer.

Yeah on the short bed it seems a bit more practical but with the long bed it seems like you’re a little more cut off from space in the corners

If my math is correct, it's 6".

Aesthetically I agree that they look a little bit short on the 6’ bed, especially on the sport/window version, and I think the cap on a 5 foot bed looks a bit better proportioned as a result. Functionally, they give good access, I can reach all the corners, it’s definitely not a dealbreaker.

Anyone DIY install on a Trailhunter? Looking for insight into whether there is anything to be aware of when pulling off the plastic bed rail to route the brake light splitter cable with the TH having bed rail lights integrated. Can you still just pop the rail covers off? I noticed the LEDs are mounted in the plastic so they appeared to lift off with the plastic when I was checking them out.

You don't lift the bed rail. You drill a hole through the bed, just below the rail, and go in from there. Wiring the third brake light is a fifteen-minute job.
