24 Trail Hunter and ordered the Stillen CAI. It didn't fit as the box impacted several places on the front. Went back and forth with them showing pictures of the issue.
They then wanted me to check other items like this ID of the tube, etc. It dawned on me they had not completed full R&D for a Trail Hunter so it was returned. Now waiting on refund and told it could take up to ten days to post........Not happy.
Had a 23 Tundra TRD Pro prior and remember Stillen did the same thing with several products marketed for the Tundra without insuring full fit.
same i

thanks for the response i sent a request for a refund earlier. the la
No resolution, the first time I got the code they said they would let their manager or engineer know and get back to me but they never did. I’m going to ask for a refund as well because my box didn’t even line up for me to put the push clips in. That was also something I first emailed them about, got one reply asking for more pictures and then never heard back.
i dont even have the snorkel and didnt like how the box fit inside the engine bay, clearly made contact in certain areas and i did not like the fact even after installing the rubber grommets at the bottom the box moved around way too much compared y

same here with the push clips and didny like how the rubber grommets at the bottom of the air box doesnt even secure the air box properly and it just wiggles around too.

id start that request soon, i read elsewhere stillen said the maf issue was caused by an over oiled filter and i said to myself yeahhh i got a dry filter and have the issue so its not the filter its a system issue

I honestly think they didnt do enough R&D and drove the truck long enough to see the maf issue pop up.

The first time i got it after 20 miles. The second time it happened after 60miles.

i swapped back to stock thursday night and driven 100 miles on it and have 0 issues so its 100% the intake.

I plan to go with the k&N 63 series and get a dry filter down the line.

good luck bud and hope you get sorted out asap 🫔

It’s too bad… Not to long ago Stillen was in a league of their own with the Gen2 Tundra intake! I had high hopes?

I have a new dry filter with scoop sitting uninstalled in my garage for my manual 24 Tacoma OR.
Has any one had success (throwing no codes or CEL) installing one of these? If so which filter and which trim Tacoma?
For those getting CEL and Codes which filter and which trim Tacoma was this happening?
I am trying to sort out if I should install or return to Stillen.
Thanks in advance.

pia imo
, had a TRD cold air intake on a Yaris
Really did provide quite a pop of power & sounded cool , u could hear me coming a block away
but u need two metal filters as it takes days to clean, dry & oil prime the filter so the need for two filters is there
but really does cold air intakes add that much to a turbo powered engine ?
i thought turbos pulled cold air already or am I misunderstanding that ?

Hey everyone! Wanted to keep you guys in the loop with some updates that might help clarify what a few of you have been seeing.

First, thank you to Stillen (@Will-Stillen) for generously sending over one of their intake systems for testing and evaluation. It’s always appreciated when a company is willing to collaborate and engage directly with the enthusiast community.

We’ve seen some recent reports here of CELs popping up after installing this intake. These kinds of issues can happen when a system slightly alters the MAF housing in a way that the stock ECU calibration can’t properly account for, and it's not always apparent to the end user.

The good news is: we’ve developed a calibration solution specifically tailored for this intake that resolves the CEL and ensures proper fueling and performance. After testing the system in-house, we've been able to correct the MAF scaling and validate the calibration under a variety of conditions.

To be clear, this isn't a knock on the intake itself—build quality and fitment are solid. The CELs are just a side effect of what happens when you push airflow design changes beyond what the factory calibration can interpret.

If you're running this intake and have experienced a CEL, or are considering it and want peace of mind, feel free to reach out. Our updated calibration is ready to go and will integrate seamlessly with our existing tune packages.

Appreciate you doing this. I do want to mention that Stillen advertised no tune/calibration required. Results were install and drive.
