Is anyone else’s sunroof seeping water at the rear edges? Especially the corners?

It rained overnight and when I first drove the car I got doused with water that came from between the headliner and plastic housing where the sunroof controls and rear slider switch are. I felt the under side of the sunroof and it seems there is water seeping in from the rear corners.

This is starting to feel like a Jeep forum.

I feel like I bought a Stellantis product. I’ve already had a rear main seal and oil pan gasket replaced. I smell the occasional coolant out of the engine bay. Also my tailgate sounds like an old rusty creaky door when actuating. I think I got a lemon.

Check your sunroof drain hole. It is most likely clogged with dirt and debris. Most likely if you park under trees or dusty areas.
This is a problem with 90% of cars, suv, trucks with a sunroof/moonroof.

Front corner two drain holes are draining fine. Tray seems clean.

Anywhere else could cause water to pour through from here? It was parked on my drive way which does have an upward slope. I avoid parking under trees because I don’t want bird poop on my paint.

Do we also have a drain hole in the rear of the roof? I know my BMW X5 does. If all 4 holes drain without issues then it’s likely a seal. At that point I’d take it in to the dealer for resolution.

That’s what I was wondering. With the poor roof seal combined with the holes only being in the front then I need to park facing down from now on. Maybe I overwhelmed the holes’ ability to drain by accumulating all the water on the tray which then sloshed forward all at once.
