I purchased the fang lights from Tacoma Lifestyle back in April when they were on sale and installed them around mid May. I followed their video instructions to a T and sealed any connections with heat shrink. Fast forward to yesterday and my driver side light is completely out and I have several LEDs(?) on the passenger side that are burned out. Anybody else having issues or have solutions?

I think the problem isn't your install or anything you can control. Unfortunately those lights for $150 are not going to provide years of service. Quality lighting is expensive for a reason.

I don't want to take from OP but if he does not take them, i'm interested. I want to test them. I want to know if they're the same as the cheap chinese ones but rebranded as Tacoma Lifestyle.

I wonder how difficult it would be to fix them. If some kid in China put it together, there's no reason we can't fix it, perhaps I'm naive.

I don’t disagree with you. I reached out to Tacoma Lifestyle and their support team is going to send out a new set I believe. I’m going to check all the connections this weekend to make sure everything is snug.

I simply don’t get it. Why people put these cheap ($150) made in China lights in their new $50K truck and have any expectations. Countless threads of complaints on these things. They are garbage - period. No matter where you buy them. Only a matter of time before each one of them fails in the short to medium term. No better than any accessory youā€˜d buy at a pep boys or a harbour freight. Sure get it replaced for free, guaranteed to just be a game of whack a mole. What is peoples time worth that people love the look of them that much that they are willing to have to fix them every six to eight weeks.

This is just a general rant to the amount of posts about issues surrounding these lights.

I get it, I read several posts in favor of them and some with issues with them including wiring issues. I just liked the look of them, if they go out again then I’ll come up with another solution or place the stock plastic back.

I get it. It isn’t what I’d call enjoyment though, I’d call it beating yourself up and letting everyone know what you’ve done.
