I have a 2025 TRD ORP with the Toyota dashcam. I’d be interested in doing a side by side comparison of the two. I live in South Texas so it would be a good test for the heat tolerance.

2026 TRD Sport, I would give it a solid test, I have a pretty busy commute and am driving lots throughout my day.

Would be interested in comparing this against my current (Amazon) 4K dash cam for quality, build, design etc.

Thanks to everyone who reached out and shared their rigs!

We've selected our testers for this round and reached out via DM to get their kits prepped.
Looking forward to seeing their install feedback on the new overhead pre-wired harness once they have it up and running. We'll keep everyone posted here.

Beware, this vendor will ask for your personal information after telling you you were “selected” and after you provide your name, address and phone number, they reneg.

It’s a little concerning that Admins moved my thread into the general category and left the Vendor’s post in featured. Who are they looking out for?

They moved it because you posted it in the wrong section. There's a dedicated place for vendor reviews. They also haven't actually "reneg" yet. They said they'd send it to you as soon as they got them in. You signed up for new product testing, not a giveaway. Them not having the test product ready is a bit of a snafu, but doesn't necessarily mean its a scam.

You really gotta relax man. Your blood pressures gotta be off the charts. It may be a scam, it may not. If you look in this section you'll see a thread where there actually was a potential scam from myself. That particular vendor attempted a "giveaway" where you had to pay for the "free" product and hopefully get a refund after you gave them a positive review.

Unless money changes hands or they attempt to get money from you it isn't a scam, yet. Your name address and phone number isn't valuable info. Given a bit of time, I'd bet I could get that with a bit of searching. Google your own name, and town you live in and your info will probably pull right up. Usually with address, phone number, previous known addresses, known associates and family members, its crazy.

Appreciate Will jumping in, but this was honestly bad wording on my end. Total miscommunication.

To be clear, there's no scam or bait-and-switch. Our early prototype test harnesses ran out faster than expected, which is on me for not explaining clearly.

SilverSurfer — If you're open to it, we can ship out the main dashcam unit to you right away, and send the test harness separately as soon as the next batch lands (all at zero cost, obviously). Sent you a DM to get this sorted out.
