Im sure going with 295-7-18 will suffice many, however im on the quest to have poke lol, i should of waited, i just fell in love with trail hunter bronze wheels, now my tire guy tells me ill see an inch and half exposed…..maybe im looking for more , beef look is me , and i guess if i eat over $ 1000.00 in wheels on my ooppps , oh well , i should of looked for zero offset wheels, my oversight….perhaps my son will want them, he recently bought a TRD Offroad, and daughter is buying one now…ugh…i guess i could just be happy with what i get , 285-70-18 and be done, give me some width, im happy what do you guys thing….shit there may be some guys saying im nuts ill be fine i dont know, at this point tires and wheels have to be the most time consuming worrisome point of owning my taco….you veterans please chime in …im all ears at this point, ill say , @tacorancher ND @MT-Taco Have been very helpful in this indecisive journey, thanks boys

I think its +20 or +25... which is already more than what I'd want on my TRD OR.

OP, stick with the amazing TH wheels you already have.... your rear quarters will thank you. 😊

Dang, I’d like to see trailhunter bronze wheels on my new Heritage blue Land Cruiser. it could be a thing,. Shoot, If I was near you, I’d trade you for the method 316’s I have with the +18 poke. They’re definitely pokey. I’m going to throw them on my new LC rather than sell them now.

If you’re happy with the end results, I’d call that a win. Even if you feel like a unicorn, if you like the extra poke you like the extra poke(y)—— good luck with getting it how you want.

Hey David, Here is a video that helped me with the same question.

I watched the video and still chose a 0 offset wheel. Buy what you want and trade out if its not right. On these trucks the higher offset (more tuck) keeps the tire away from body molds and allows for 35"s and up much easier. My 34"s did require trimming even with the modest lift. This squatty little truck gives me far less worries about paint with than my Ram. Good flaps mud will get you covered. Cheers!
