The 3T3 by itself is a very modest upgrade. My real reason behind installing it was to gain the RCA inputs for my aftermarket powered subwoofer, with any gains in my mids and highs being icing on the cake. The cake ended up with very little icing.I have seen info on the BeatSonic ENA 3T3. Are you thinking about doing this upgrade even after installing the amp? Are you thinking the amp is not enough?
What about the back sub woffer behind the back seat on the drivers side? Will the BeatSonic ENA 3T3 help it too?
The root of the issue is that the factory amp doesn't produce enough constant power (RMS wattage) for those speakers to run where they perform best. It would be akin to trying to increase water flow (water pressure = RMS wattage) by installing a wider pipe (higher rated speakers). The issue still remains that you're not putting enough power behind the water.I definitely want to look more into this. It's sad when my GFs 2021 4runner sounds MUCH better than mine.

@maxx075 I take it that your implying that this along with the BeatSonic ENA 3T3 would be a great upgrade?

Yeah, that is what I think too. I put in a Beat Sonic amp and it definitely helped, but it is now more like a nice basic audio system, and hardly premium. The whole sound system was designed to be cheap and I guess they hit that target. But to really make it great you would have to start with a good amp and change all of the speakers, particularly that removable thing. The more I've researched it, the more I'm coming to realize there is no magic bullet for the audio in our trucks.
