I published a follow-up to my SXTH Element bed-step relocation bracket installation on a 2025 Tacoma Trailhunter.

During the original install, the factory ARB bolt was slightly short after the relocation bracket was added. I paused the installation, documented the complete stack and fitment, and sent the information to SXTH Element.

They responded with longer bolts and matching nyloc nuts, and the follow-up video includes the original unpublished test-fit footage, a three-stage hardware comparison, and the completed installation.

Video:

This is intended as a fitment reference, not as an unofficial hardware specification. Owners should confirm current hardware and torque guidance directly with SXTH Element for their exact trim and configuration.

I would be interested to hear whether other Trailhunter or TRD Pro owners received the original or updated hardware.

I have a 2025 TH and hard to stick with the OEM bolts and have the same issue as you did (not enough threads). To clarify, are you saying Sxth will ship out new hardware at no charge?

SXTH element isn't giving away these extended bolts for free. The OP probably got it free so he can promote it. Next time OP should state that the items were given to him for free in exchange for a review. Makes it more clear.

The link is here: 2024+ Tacoma ARB Bed Step Relocation Bracket Bolt Kit

It's $35 plus $10 shipping so $45.

Have a good day. 🌞

@Corn-Taco

@PR_21 , thank you and you beat me to it. At first I thought this was a friendly PSA and then it hit me, there's a catch.

Heading to my local specialty hardware supplier to get SAE grade 8 zinc dichromate bolts.
