Hi John, I would like to get the flush mount lights for my OEM ARB bumper. I have a 2025 Trailhunter and I have not used my OEM auxiliary pigtail in the rear bumper area. Which of your pigtails should I order to hook this up to my reverse & brake lights (and be able to turn them off with aux)? Thanks! (Edited—Order Confirmation #DUVUHMHP6)

Ok I know that this discussion has been had many times. Forgive me for asking again but, i'm buying them now so it finally matters. If I want the lights to activate with reverse lights, tail lights, and by OEM aux switch do I need this kit:

If you have the Built in switches. you DON'T need the full rear harness because there is a wire already run.
If you HAVE the aux switches you would want the FIRST selection (With OEM Switches)

This is in the description for clarity-

CLEARLY UNDERSTANDING THE OPTIONS-

In short, there are 2 styles of lights- “Flush Mount” and “Bracket Mount”

Flush Mount Lights- (This kit)

There are 2 ways that mount the “FLUSH MOUNT” lights to a bumper. By cutting out a hole in it, or the same “Flush Mount” lights mount Inside a Hole that is already there. In the case of the Trail-Hunter/TRD Pro which has an ARB bumper with existing pockets and blanks with screws.

Note- If you don’t have an ARB Bumper or the Trail-Hunter model with that bumper and you select the “Flush Mount” option. It would require you to use a template to cut your own holes to mount them. Again, not with the Trail-Hunter/ARB Bumper.

Bracket Mount Lights- (NOT this kit)

(This kit is NOT the Bracket Mount version. If you DON'T have an ARB Bumper and DON'T want to cut holes in your bumper, click this link-)

The Bracket mount lights can be mounted to ANY Rear bumper without cutting. They simply mount to a drop down bracket under the bumper, but still up tight. If you don’t have the model with the cut outs. These might be your best solution. If you were confused and purchased the wrong models. We can work with you to exchange them.

Harnesses-

The Tail Light adapter works with ALL models. Regardless of how you mount them.

It supplies an automatic reverse power signal when the truck is in reverse and it powers the red backlights when the tail/running lights are on.

The Short Rear harness work with ALL models. It connects to the tail light adapter and just powers the lights from the 2 signals mentioned with the tail light adapter. The 2 are needed together. If you get the short harness, you also get the tail light adapter which powers it.

Next, the LONG Harness VS the Pig Tail “New Option”.

NOTE- If you have the ARB model and have built in switches from Toyota and you want switch control and automatic control. Choose - "(WITH OEM SWITCHES) -Short Harness With Pass Through Pig Tail for Switches & Reverse Trigger"

2nd Note- The 2024 and 2025 models are only different in the connectors for the built in switches in the rear. The 25 model has a 4 pin connector for 2 switches and the 24 model has a 2 pin connector for 2 switches.
