I installed a couple Pelican cases w/ mounting brackets. I really don't like Tonneau covers and had been searching for waterproof, lockable, and easily removable storage.

I'd been leaning towards the Decked system, but two things held me back. 1., it's a speedy removal when you need the full bed space. 2., the drawer is only about 8" tall. That meant simple things like my portable air compressor, folding traction boards, etc. would not really fit in.

I stumbled across a SEMA video on YouTube where the host briefly and casually mentioned Pelican cases in the back of a Taco and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The cases are waterproof, lockable, lock into the mounts (w/ a padlock), and can be removed in about 60 seconds each.

We drove out to Mount Greylock in western Mass yesterday, 3 hours out on Route 2 and 3 hours back on Mass Pike. When I pulled into our driveway, showed 27.2 mpg for the 6 hours of driving.

Starting a general thread for all things mods done to your 4th gen! From super basic to super expensive! I picked up my underground yesterday. Ordered the TRD High flow air filter for it already as a simple start.

I emailed Toyota Warehouse to ask for an update to when they are gonna ship my OEM Toyota rock slider hardware so I can install the sliders! I got them for $200 from the guy who built this Tacoma for raffle.

also ordered Diode ss3 pods today.
