Added a 95L Roam box back to back with the 83L. Access was a challenge. Using reverse camera and tiny screwdriver helped get the MOLLE nuts centered in the extrusion t-track. I cussed so much, my neighbor checked on me

The wife is a woman of many talents, so I have asked her to make paracord grab handles for each of the boxes. I have to get in the truck bed or on a ladder to close them if I push them all the way up. She has more paracord than a prepper.

More bolt-on fun: Sherpa billet handles and their antenna mount. Did the handles before Roam box addition, and they were helpful to keep me safe while I fiddled with the infernal box mounts.

I found a fix on Reddit but decided to cut the bumper thing instead, not perfect, but it’ll do for now

My Sherpa Rainier just shipped. I was looking at the Roam boxes as well and thought the T bracket mounts looked easy. I'm just curious, why didn't you move the rail so the bracket aligned on the outside the rail for easy access?

Thought about that if I couldn’t access from the hard to reach inside. It’s harder for thieves if it’s harder for us to install. I also have security hardware on order for both boxes’ brackets and an Abus cable lock 6.5’ that seems like it will attach through both boxes. Hoping a couple of deterrents will work. I’m going to try an Abus combo padlock on the box lid clasps - maybe just need one in the middle. The fit is difficult given the recessed clasps. I tried Cedar Ridge post locks, good on gun cases, but it’s the wrong shape to get into the recess. My other padlocks were too wide. I measured and ordered one combo lock yesterday to check out.

@mtbocoee another benefit of the way that I have the rear of the box mounted on the inner side of the extrusion is that the outside of the T-track facing the truck bed is freed up. I could put chase lights or whatever back there. But I know I have to be careful about interference between powered items and antennas when lights are on.

Added a Garmin MINI Cam 3. I had a Garmin Mini Cam 2 on my last truck for many years and the resolution was adequate for my needs. I also like the fact that it is an American product so hopefully the quality will be better that the Chinesium cams. Garmin also makes many of the avionics that were on the aircraft that I flew so I feel comfortable with my choice. It only took a few minutes to install which included the Donger Pro with the selectable use while parked.
