Big day for OTT R&D.

After a long wait, our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers ProHub AWD 3200CCS dyno has officially landed at OTT R&D HQ in Ogden, Utah.

Widely regarded as the gold standard in chassis dyno technology. This Mainline gives us an incredibly powerful new tool for calibration development, repeatability analysis, thermal/load simulation, and validation work. The addition of the Mainline is a major step forward for our in-house development capabilities and further reinforces our commitment to data-driven calibration development, validation, and consistency across every platform we support.
For those unfamiliar with the Mainline platform:
  • Hub-coupled design removes tire variables from testing, allowing us to test well above speed ratings of tires SAFELY
  • Extremely accurate load control and repeatability
  • Industry-leading transient response simulation
  • Exceptional for steady-state mapping, drivability work, and thermal characterization
This system will be dedicated primarily to R&D calibration development, emissions compliance and validation testing, comparative hardware analysis, thermal/load characterization, advanced drivability refinement, long-duration stress and repeatability testing, as well as special projects and advanced client tuning.

We are extremely excited to put this thing to work. As always, OTT continues investing heavily into bringing high-level development processes and validation standards into the aftermarket calibration space.

I'm unfamiliar with this type/manufacturer of Dyno. It appears that the dyno attaches to each hub assembly, vs dealing with big roller drums of say a Dynojet dyno. Nonetheless congrats. I'm sure your excited to have some new hardware in the shop.
