I don't think most folks are "clutching pearls" it's just a bunch of guys talking about what they personally find cringe worthy. In fact the only guys "clutching pearls" are the ones defending their builds. It was supposed to be a light hearted razzing.

Took a while but I've finally been caught. The way you put "amp" hit me right in the heart. But I only agree because I have learned just how limited it really is versus and real amp. But it took 8 pages in for me to see my own cringe mod, I consider it a win!

Hey, if it sounds better, more power to it. I just have to justify the stupid amount I spent on my system. I started off looking at the $289 kicker hideaway at best buy and it sort of just spiraled out of control.

It’s funny cause I bought some and changed my mind as they’re a pain to install and didn’t look as cool when they showed up.

Which ones did you buy? I actually like some of the understated ones--like not the moving/blinking Knight Rider* style, but just the "extra fog light" kind. Plus that fang trim is sort of pointless otherwise.

I put a carbon wrap on my side pillars where the seat belts have been marring the plastic lol. Keeps it from scratching it all to hell though.
