Yes, I agree - you got a good deal and you have the truck and the pdi details are not all that important. Some dealers treat customers well and some don't but once the sale is final you never need to see them again. It sounds like it worked out for you.
The Toyota PDI actually states that you should receive a full tank of gas on delivery, so I doubt that they did many of the other things on the PDI list either. Some dealers are just outright crooks.
I got my RCI sliders after you and all of the bolt holes did line up, so they paid attention to your problem. There was one on the passenger side that required some fiddling around, but I didn't have to drill it out.
I also have the RCI 5 degree with the tread and I like them a lot.
The sliders combined with the Canadian mud flaps have cut down on stuff being thrown on the side of my truck. They also make a step for shorter passengers and protect you from creeps in parking lots dinging your doors.
Yep - most lemon laws require that the problem is not resolved after three repair attempts or that the vehicle is out of service for more than 30 days.
My detailer took the scoop off and did the hood in one piece. He is a real pro and he said that hood was the hardest body panel he had ever wrapped.
Wicked awesome is a perfect description of the scoop from my POV too.
My wife's suv has the partial PPF on a black hood and I hate it. Luckily she doesn't seem to care. lol
I did full PPF after starting out just planning on doing the front clip. The price is a lot, but knowing that your paint (and the truck's value) is protected is important to me. Chipping...
In my neighborhood the electric cars make more noise than the ICE ones because of the presence sound. I find the Tesla one to be both louder and more irritating than most of the others.
Truth.
Start your engine when it is cold and watch how quickly the oil pressure reaches normal. Then do it after your oil change without a prefill and you will see it is the same.
Congrats! That is a beautiful truck - Bronze Oxide is one of my favorite colors on a 4th gen.
I came from a 2011 Tundra and you are right - compared to older trucks these are space ships. 4th gens are amazing trucks which are lots of fun off road and run trails like a bobcat.
Enjoy!
Yeah - that is what I thought, because most of the Toyota OEM parts are expensive. I don't see how those NYTOP flairs could ever fit right though, considering how they are attached with the tape.
Good luck and I hope you can find a way to make those work.
I do all of my own oil changes, and I have never prefilled an oil filter, so it can't be necessary. It can't hurt if it is possible, but not really needed. Watch your oil pressure when you start your engine and see how quickly it reaches normal pressure. Years ago some people would remove the...
