4th Gen Tacoma Aftermarket Lift Kits and Leveling Kits

Icon has a mono tube and a bypass version available that I think are 2.5 inch tubes,

King clearly has setups,

Dobinsons has a monotube and a resi version with a 2.6 inch,

Eibach has 2 inch mono tube all around and an upgraded monotube up front and resi out back.

Ive heard Fox has their offering slowly releasing, maybe just presale?


I'm doing a ton of research. My front end is so heavy after my bumper, winch, etc. that I need to get another inch and a half or so to get back to level and gain some of the travel I lost. It also rides ROUGH.

Anyone running the Dobinsons or the Eibachs?

Here is a before after picture of installing a rough country 1.5" levelling kit on the front of a 2024 tacoma TRD sport. Stock rear suspension.

Make sure to get an alignment afterwards. The camber and toe were out pretty far.

I ended up getting the Eibach coilovers with reservoirs and the bumps and turns are so much smoother in my offroad. I still need to adjust the front to level out the front. The back is still 1" taller.

I had the $500 Westcott kit for about a month. I was not happy with the ride and had it removed.

I bit the bullet and had a complete set of front and rear King 2.5 shocks and sway bar links installed. The shock upgrade made a night and day difference in the ride. Buy once, cry once.

How’s the over ride with OEM vs aftermarket is it harder or smoother?

I put the RC front 1.5” leveling kit on mine. Easy to install and looks good. I did have it aligned afterwards to insure it was good

Do you still have the alignment sheet of the before and after numbers?

Kit was around 8-9k. Install was a lot easier on this gen.

I am still waiting for ICON to release rear springs.

Quick question on the king lift kit, which I’ve been looking at. Is it right that it lifts the front by up to 2 or 2.5 inches but nothing in the rear unless you pair it with a new coil spring?

All dogs spring kit was perfect for my needs. Takes maybe a couple hours to swap the springs, and then get it in for an alignment because wow it was off. Factory tires still on, frame sliders do kind of make the truck look lower so worth taking into account visually.

Yes the only thing that lifts the ring is the springs. Springs are cheap around $250 I would opt for them and you don’t have to go icon it can be any brand
