@JustDSMFollow up question - Does anyone know if the DTE can be adjusted via OTT tune/etc?
Currently, it's not something we've solved, but I'll get it in the development que to investigate.Follow up question - Does anyone know if the DTE can be adjusted via OTT tune/etc?
Are you thinking to be confirmed rules us Max/6’ foot bed folks out?Feeling dejected as a 6’ bed iForce Max driver in California.
Wife and I are discussing a trip to Boise where LRA is located, with Yellowstone afterwards.
Maybe. It’s possible that LRA hasn’t fit checked (physically & software) fully on all 4G trims. I’d like to call them to discuss before being an early adopter on an iffy major mod as relates to fit. Legality I’m less worried about. Catch me if you can……Are you thinking to be confirmed rules us Max/6’ foot bed folks out?
The way they word it makes it seem like they think it will fit based on measurements alone, but they haven't actually tried to install one (yet) on long beds or I Force Maxes.Maybe. That is my take — I believe they know their business and have to go through this disclaimer process to hurry to market. The way they word it makes it seem like they think it will fit based on measurements alone, but they haven't actually tried to install one (yet) on long beds or I Force Maxes.
From the pre-order page:
Disclaimers
- Long-bed fitment to be confirmed
- I-Force Max to be confirmed
- Leaf-sprug fitment to be confirmed
Upon initial inspection, the tank should fit all three platforms.

just spoke with Eric at Asheville Vehicle Outfitters. He spoke with LRA this afternoon and they are working with the local Toyota dealer to check fitment on TH / force max. They feel 95% confident that it will fit. That is my take — I believe they know their business and have to go through this disclaimer process to hurry to market.
If I get to talk with them, I’ll post a synopsis of the chat.
Toyota can only (reasonably) say the warranty relating to the fuel storage system is void since their parts will be replaced. I would hope the drivetrain warranty and emissions system warranty are viewed as unaffected. That said, it’s easy to envision Toyota screwing someone over. A head gasket blows and dealer says, it’s your repair bill because a big gas tank harms the pistons. Doesn’t take a psychic to foretell dealer B.S.just spoke with Eric at Asheville Vehicle Outfitters. I am not worried about the legalities from someone telling me it is not legal except if Toyota could use that as excuse to void long term warranty.
