Can you give us some details on it’s behaviors of the DRL?I just went ahead and installed the headlights with the drl harness. Tapped into the Horn and Eng 2 IGR.
Activation sequence works for me when locking and unlocking. Complete darkness, with some light, and daylight. Worked every time.
Ok, that’s pretty rad. Now I’m considering adding the harness in. Was that part difficult? Do you feels it’s manageable with the grill back on? I do not feel like taking that thing off again.
You should easily be able to add the harness with the grill/bumper on.

dumb question from the non-electrical people …. Does the harness come with those “taps” and you just plug them into an empty fuse or how does that work? Do you need to do some basic wiring for the connector piece?You should easily be able to add the harness with the grill/bumper on.
The only things youll most likely have to remove are the intake piece and radiator cover. The ones held by flush push lock clips.
I also made small cutout for the fuse taps.
Which fuse did you tap into in this photo? Looks like towing igr which is 7.5 amp. Did you have to use the same amperage fuse or can you use lower amperage?Not a dumb question all.
The "tap" should come with the harness. Remove the designated existing fuse from the fuse box and install it next to the new fuse that is supplied in the "tap".
Install the "tap" back in the same spot that you originally took the fuse from and you are done.
