Anyone else’s A/C absolute garbage at anything under 25mph?

Anyone else notice their A/C doesn’t blow cold at slower speeds? Mine is great at higher speeds, luckily most of my driving with the taco is highway. In town though, or sitting at a stop, it’s not cold at all.

I took it in a parade today (going about 2mph) and by the end of it my dash was telling me to safely pull off and refer to the manual. The A/C was cranked up the entire parade but nothing cold coming out, so I’m sure the compressor was overworking and likely the source of the issue, but this shouldn’t be happening either way. I will definitely be taking it in, but wondered if anyone else was having the problem with slower speeds not producing cold air.

Are you using automatic or manually controlling it with the temp set below 65?

Sounds like a trip to the service department is in your future.

Automatic.m, but have tried different settings and it’s always the same.

I have had no issues out of mine, it's almost too cold at times. I have mine on AUTO at 72°F

I got stuck on the Interstate last week for over an hour because of a pile up. Temp was upper 80's with 2 dogs in the back seat, 2024 Limited with AC on auto, and it kept us comfortable.

AC blows the coldest out of any vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Took 5 to LA and it was 100F the entire way. AC kept the truck interior cool even at idle when it was 100F out in Kettleman City. Very good AC compared to other modern cars I'd even say.

Something is definitely not right with your AC.

Oh yeah, get it checked out, I am not the turn the ac down type and I have to back this one down.

My climate control settings work so well I have not had to use the AC. I tried it once and it was too cold for me. Of course I do prefer open sunroof and windows as I prefer the heat. Sounds like a warranty repair to me.

I live on the Space Coast in Florida aka "hot as balls" and have had no issues with the AC. I usually have to crank mine up after a couple of minutes after getting into the 120° truck in a parking lot (2024 TRD Sport+ 4X4). Sounds like a warranty issue.

110 in Vegas the other day. No problems here. If you were getting overheat warnings, maybe your fan is not running.
