For those interested, I reached out to ARB concerning the release of their new Zenith metal front bumper (pictured) for my 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter and this was threply:

“Hello Mark, we havent released any product for the aftermarket on the new Tacoma as of yet, however we do have a Zenith bumper in the works for that one! Anticipated release is scheduled for April this year, with stock hoping in the building this coming June”

Come on June!!!

At first blush, the initial release_availability was March-April. It looks like that has been pushed back a bit...perhaps ARB is taking a underpromise, overdeliver approach. I have been postponing a decision about a winch-capable bumper until I get look at this product.

Anyone want to hazard a guess at the price point? It's likely either $1400 USD or $2K based on the other bumpers they offer. This one is elaborate, but doesn't have the grill and headlight loops of the Summit or Deluxe series, so *maybe* it's on the lower price scale. Fingers crossed I suppose.

Will it be more of an OEM-type offering - like do you think toyota will be putting these on future trucks

If we consider the rear bumpers that come on the trialhunter, they are available only through dealerships at this time. I think they are a fairly reasonable price too, weirdly. Something like $500 or $600, but don't quote me on that. Its been a while since I looked at the price sheet posted in this forum.

However, the ARB rear bumper is a direct, bolt on replacement for the stock one. This front bumper looks like it requires some cutting like every other aftermarket front assembly. Unless they come with a colour matched panel kit for around/below the headlights, or something that removes the need to cut the stock bumper panels (I would LOVE a "no cut", direct bolt on piece if any aftermarket companies are listening), they'll probably leave it to the owners to make that commitment.

That being said, Toyota seems keen to adapt to the off-road/overlanding enthusiasts now, so maybe they will eventually create a factory offering of an ARB front bumper. I'm sure some dealerships are already doing "full builds" on some of their Tacos so you can drive off the showroom floor with pre-installed bumpers, skids, racks, lifts, rock sliders, lights etc. I remember a buddy of mine bought a new Tundra years ago that came prefitted from the dealer with 20" rims, tires, lift, canopy, etc, all with a warranty.

ARB confirmed that the truck will require cutting:

"There will be cutting required, I checked with my tech that did the prototype on our 4th gen here, sounds like pretty much everything from the Toyota emblem in the grill down gets cut and removed (so part of the grill is cut as well), in addition to some fender flare cutting to mate up to the outside of the bumper"

I like the look. I have awaiting a full grill guard that will protect the corners from brush and shopping carts.
I think the two big questions are 1. Cutting (mentioned by others) and 2. Sensors. I would like to see the factory sensors fitted for the new bumper.

ARB support responded to a question on the product page saying it "adds 160lbs to the vehicle". Sounds like that might be net after subtracting the weight of what comes off to install it. I imagine it doesn't include the winch weight since that is variable.
I love the look and protection. The weight, not so much. But expected. Gonna think on it and avoid the impulse buy right now. 🤔

I was looking at that bumper and had one on preorder. They let me know that ARB had recieved them in their US warehouse. It is a very complex bumper and very expensive to install. They qouted me 2 days to install which is $2800. They thought it would actually take the first one longer, but didnt want me to pay for their learning curve. This is based on what it took them to do the Tundra bumper.

I like the look of the bumper, but for over $5K total I need to love the bumper and I don't

So I am passing waiting to see what comes via aftermarket over the next year.

The point of my post is to understand the total cost of the bumper

Take a look at the attached instructions. What it doesn't include is recalibration of all the sensors. They said the Tundra didnt work until they did that and included that in the 2 day estimate
