I just finished installing the Aspire V2 fang lights on my Tacoma. Whole install took about 45 min, but 30 of that was getting the factory plastic pieces off and zip tying the wires out of the way.

Legitimately plug and play. Once the Fang light is in the bumper, you untwist the yellow turn signal bulb, take it out of the housing plug it into the female end of the prewired adapter, plug the other adapter end into the truck wire housing and put the bulb back in.

I finished in the dark, so pics aren't great. But will upload new pics later

Did you use any tools to pop the factory pieces off or just hand only? Any tips for getting them off? Did you have to mess with fuses or anything or is it truly plug and play?

Unless you want to break the tabs on the OEM pieces, I would suggest just taking the front clip of the truck off. It's an easy job to do if you watch a video how to do it.

I watched it, he made it seem easy to get those factory pieces off but everybody is saying how hard it is. I saw he messed with the fuses too but he didn't have the plug and play type. If you have the plug and play type, do you still have to do anything with the fuses?

I did not, I just jammed my arms down behind the lights and worked them free...scratched the sh*t out of myself. Someone up thread suggested using a Hole saw bit for your drill, which I am upset I didn't think of. I wasnt keeping the plastic pieces, so I should have just cut through them.

For the Aspire lights...there is a fuse splitter on one end. You just pull the fuse (the instructions indicate which one), put the splitter in and put the fuse back in on top. I did cut a hole and feed the wire through the plastic box that the fuses are in (like in the youtube video posted)..just to make it look cleaner, but it was a 30 second thing.
