Finally got around to installing a Banks PedalMonster on my 2024 TRD Sport. Crawling underneath to get to the accelerator pedal connector was a pain, to say the least. 😅

I started with the Mid mode at Level 5, and wow—it definitely woke the truck up. I’m curious how everyone else has theirs set up.

What mode and level are you running? Have you stuck with your original settings, or did you end up dialing it back after living with it for a while?

I've had it for 3months and i have it on High Torque, level 5 and trim set to 5. anything higher is too much imo. Throttle response was vastly improved and i feel my mpg improved as well. I think the OTT is something to consider down the road, but i like the flexibility of disabling the pedeal monster as well as removing it easily for maintenance visits to my dealership.

Yo! Thanks for chiming in! I find it interesting that your mileage improved, however slight, on High, #5. I like the flexibility of increasing or decreasing torque depending on the situation.
Sticking to 2 in mid for daily driving.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but no pedal commander or similar device will give you more torque. It merely increases throttle input position and input sensitivity. I like to say its the equivalent of wearing platforms or boots that push down on the pedal further with less foot pressure and effort lol. The power output is 100% stock with zero gains.

I don't understand why people can't seem to understand this. You'd think it would be common knowledge at this point.

I have a good example of this. I have two shoes I wear every day. One is my regular comfortable shoe that I wear most of the time and the other is my steel toe work boot. Whenever I wear my work boot while driving, I have to completely readjust my seating position because the extra inch of padding on my boot pushes the throttle down much more than my regular shoe and for that reason my acceleration is more rapid and twitchy lol. My normal seating position and my work boot seating position is the difference of 1 inch of pedal travel. I also switch it to eco mode because the throttle is more linear in that mode. The pedal commander, sure it's programmed with different settings but the results are similar.
