Just a heads up, I had my rear camera and brake line recall work done. My AC wouldn't blow cold at standstills and bumper to bumper traffic. My engine also briefly overheated and went into limp mode. I saw on Facebook that this happened to others. The technician forgot to replug the radiator fan back in. Just a reference since I didn't see this posted anywhere else in this forum.

Curious, doesnt make sense...
Why would they need to disconnect your engine cooling fan connection to swap out just the brake lines at the calipers????

Seems like there's a few cases of Toyota techs forgetting to plug (radiator?) fan back in after BSM (if that's what you mean by camera)

This happened to me as well.
No explanation why the engines electric cooling fan needs to be unplugged to replace the brake lines at the caliper?
I find this odd.
Sure there a reason as now theres multiple people, but would be cool to know why....

I would have asked why was that required...

My guess is that the fan was not unplugged for the brake line recall, but for the trailer BSM update. We already know the BSM fix requires unplugging the fan, and that sometimes it is not plugged back in after that is done.

Well this is at least a dozen plus of these I've seen across this forum, TW, and FB. Common occurrence that needs to be looked for and brought up.

Saw one guy where they didn't reconnect the brake line and another that they didn't refill the brake fluid. These Techs are going to eventually kill somebody or destroy a truck.

I already had the BSM reprogram done atleast few months back.
Guess if good but ill pop the hood & verify....
No need really cuz I know my fan is working...

I had no idea BSM reprogram requires disconnecting the fan.

I agree with BAQ...
Been in the dealer space all my life, I know theres good & bad techs....
From what ive experienced, my local dealer is solid...
Could also be a regional thing also, as isolated areas may have lack of talent...
Not trying to be a dick, but....
facts....

It’s unplugged for the reflash of the blind spot monitor.
