COBB Accessport. Any concerns ?

I've had a bunch of vehicles, but have never tuned one. I just got an email that I won a Cobb Accessport + Panda Tune, which is pretty exciting ! I have honestly not read much about tuning, so I'm just curious if anyone has any concerns post-tune. I'd assume if you blew the engine, warranty would be void. Anything else I should consider ?

The guys that have a tune will say nothing to worry about. The guys that don't tune will tell you your entire truck warranty will be void.

Personally, I have tuned cars; Porche, Subaru, VW, and Ford GT500. I never had any issues but I also knew eyes wide open that if I did have an issue I'd be out of luck. What level of risk do you like for what "extra" enjoyment in return? I could not even fathom running the risk in a 4 banger turd truck that will not return much of an improvement for that risk. They are already having plenty of growing pains in the 4G and to add that to it, I will pass.

I’ve been running my Cobb+CamTune for almost 3 months. I’ve had zero issues. Naturally I had lot of anxiety in the beginning but after a while it’s really an afterthought. I couldn’t imagine driving my truck without it now.

As far as the performance mods go, I’m pretty much maxed out at Accessport+Tune+Cobb CAI. Just be careful though, I hear the Accessport could be a gateway mod LMAO

haha thanks man. From what I've been reading it seems cool, but also hesitant. I don't even drive my Tacoma to it's potential now lol cool to win something though. First time ever winning a giveaway!

Congrats! My wife has the Cobb Accessport on her ‘24 Subaru Outback Wilderness. We bought from @CAMTuning and are happy with it.

For my truck I bought the OTT but found out from other posts since my purchase that I could run both. It’s a little complicated for my tiny brain so I have not looked into it further at this point. Got other stuff to do first.

Tunes are definitely a gateway mod LOL. I am not worried about voiding factory warranty with respect to OTT or Cobb.

Love my Cobb+Cam. Cam installed, and dyno tuned, my truck in November. It's been an excellent upgrade. I have a heavy truck with bumpers and a camper. It really woke the truck up. The tune compensated for the additional weight. I can't imagine how it would make a factory truck drive.

Cobb Accessport has been great. If you like to tune your truck, it's a great tool to have to do it yourself and change tunes whenever you feel like it at your own leisure. No waiting on a local tuner to be free to help you.
