Well thanks for the info!
Can't find published specs or anything. Found this video and it does look nice. Don't think I'd pay for it on my SR5, but if I was in the market for a new OR and got a good price I would! Then you could just drive off the lot and upgrade tires and skid plates and be done.

Was just curious what they're charging with add-ons around here. The only one that popped up right away was this premium .... Jeez. Might as well get a TH at that price.

That’s basically exactly what I did. Also will be adding a few other choice mods as well.

I did get a premium myself. But……I definitely did not pay that much. I wanted the bells and whistles which for once, I don’t regret getting at all. Long beds also will cost you like the one above is. I paid just under 48ish

Nice! Seems like a sweet deal with all those options + a lift man! Do you have a photo?

TRD lift kit should be coming off stop sale soon. New spring compressor part should be shipping to dealers in the States within the next month or so which means both the Tundra and Tacoma lifts will become available again as a dealer installed option and not just a factory installed option. I would imagine the lift kits would come off stop sale shortly after dealers receive their spring compressor with it becoming available in Canada hopefully by end of year.

Thanks for the update. There is a video of the Tundra Kit being installed by Ed Martin Toyota on you tube. They have commented that all front springs and shocks will be pre-assembled by TRD. It looks like the dealer's won't even need to compress any springs.

This is the video I saw. I’ve heard that it’s only for the Tundra but also heard it can be installed on the Tacoma also.

The kit comes unassembled (shocks and coils). Unless they assemble them at the plant, the dealer will have to do this. A simple spring compressor can do this, it isn’t very hard. With the compressor failing at the factory, it created a ton of liability on Toyota‘s end. So to not have to pay anyone else a disability pension should anyone else get seriously hurt going foward, I believe they opted to make sure there wont be another injury by improving the tool.

Not sure if it is staying that way or if it was just a temporary thing because in a meeting the Toyota reps said they were doing that because of the spring compressor issue but now they are releasing a new compressor tool. Maybe just Tacomas are going to stay as individual pieces? In Canada we still can not buy the Tundra lift kits and Toyota actually credited us for the ones we had in stock and we had to return them.

Do you guys know if historically you've been able to buy these kits during sales ? Like when they re release it, could Tacoma owners pick a kit up during a 25% off sale ?

I assume once the kit becomes available to the public to buy you’ll be able to.
