Factory lift kit opinions?

I'm in the market for a '25 TRD off-road and have been seeing a few now with the factory lift kit. It seems like a good deal to me but what are the opinions from those of you guys who have it installed?

If you’re not sending it over dunes or blasting down fire roads then the 5100s it comes with should serve you fine. Harder sell for those who already own the truck but for those buying new with it already installed it’s a solid buy IMO.

From my understanding, there are very few, at least 2024s, with that installed. Kinda like SDM.

There's a '25 with one installed and has a manual that im looking at,should I be worried? Why the stop?

A parts department here told me it had something to do with the special tools they use to install the kit. Seems odd but that is what he said.

I’m a total amateur off road’er and really enjoyed the ride and performance with the OEM lift. I’ve had a stock 25’ trd off road that was a buyback from Toyota due to paint issues and bought this 25‘ trd off road with the kit.

my thoughts…
I absolutely loved my first trd with its ride comfort. 1/4“ front level doohickey thing that did not affect the factory ride at all. Put on over sized load rate SL 285/70/17 on stock wheel with 1” wheel spacer from bora. Only spacer that was top notch recommen. hardly felt a bump with this setup.

new truck and OEM lift.
absolutely a fantastic ride for a real lift. I’ve had my teeth fillings Jared on my 2012 trd with a 2” lift.

ride is slightly firmer than non lift trd but not at all bad. To be honest the only time I feel the difference is in the rear Without a load, maybe a bit more of a jolt. If you have any weight in the bed I did not feel it. Also I only have 2k and two 4x4 run up in Tahoe on it.
I’m currently running Falkon wildpeak AT4’s 285/70/17 load SL.
