I was recently given a 1994 Chevy Camaro by one of my mom's friends. She has a few trucks for the hardware store that she owns in my hometown and everytime I was there, I'd joke about letting me know if she ever wanted to get rid of that car (it has been sitting in a garage for about 20 years). Over thanksgiving, she told me to come get it and offered to let me use a trailer to get it back home. The trip was from Bakersfield, CA to Las Vegas and the truck performed wonderfully! 3600lb car plus trailer (which I'd guess is around 1k - 1.5k). Overall, very satisfied with the performance going up and down over a few mountain ranges. Elevation in Bakersfield is about 450ft, then over a 4500ft peak, down into the high desert at about 2k ft, over another mountain range at 4500ft, then down into the Vegas Valley at 2500ft.

Photos of the car just after loading it on the trailer, and then after washing it down a bit. :ROFLMAO:

Overall, I'm really satisfied with the towing capabilities of the truck and the integrated trailer brake controller and other towing features, and I'm really excited to have this project car.

That old Camaro looks pretty decent for just over 30 years. Cant beat old cars from the west coast!

Absolutely! 109k miles on it, but sitting in a garage for the last 20 years, so very minimal rust. Took a couple weeks a bunch of parts, but got it running a few days ago. Still needs a lot of work but it's coming along nicely. My boss let me park it behind the shop for now, which is nice because that's where all my tools are, so I'll stay after work a couple times a week and tinker with it as I order parts for it
