How to fully charge the hybrid battery for 🚀🚀BLAST OFF 🚀🚀

Method 1: Sport Mode down hill with cruise control or use PDA following a vehicle for 10-15 minutes. Don't use the brake.

The truck will use the motor to brake which will fully charge the battery.


Method 2: Tow/Haul mode. Will fully charge while driving on a flat road, it seems to me that the truck saves the battery life for hard acceleration or uphill climbs. It's also keeps the engine running while at a stop.


After it's fully charged, switch to sport mode and blast off to the Moon

Fully charged in sport mode feels like much more power than half battery to me.

I would be curious if anyone has done dyno test for fully charged vs half.

I've found to fully charge in tow mode, you have to really pay attention to the max gauge in order to make sure not to accelerate too much so that the truck doesn't use the hybrid power.

It makes a pretty significant difference with regards to how much output the Hybrid system can deliver. I don't have specific charts I can show you, but we've observed the difference on the dyno.

Well that settles it, I'm going to have to figure out how to keep the hybrid pack at 100%.
