So this is how you can easily gain 2" of turning clearance to fit bigger tires on the 2024 Tacoma. You just have to remove this crash bar bracket.

Steps:
1. Remove the mud flap
2. Remove felt cover
3. Remove bolts from steel bracket to remove from body mount

Note: the braacket is called a crash bar and helps prevent the tire from coming into cab in a collision.

How does this impact warranties or insurance claims in the event of a crash?

Am new to the lift/tire game and am honestly asking.

33s are fine with me, in the event of a wreck from all the dumbasses on the roads I'd rather not have an emergency tire removal surgery.

Good to know. I most likely won't be going so big that I have to start removing safety devices/parts.

Oh man I really wish RRW makes the RR7-H in a more friendly offset for the 2024 Tacoma. Something around a +20 would be nice and hubcentric. Any pictures of the amount of poke from that -12?

That tire size fits easily without removing the bracket, also.

hmm...not sure about removing a crash bracket. would insurance deny coverage in the event of an accident if safety equipment is removed?

This is way easier than having to cut/weld on the 3G.

I wouldn't have a problem removing the cab mount bracket if I was trying to run 34's or 35's, that's why they made it removable in the first place. Most 33" setups are fine though.
