Hey, that's exactly what I think when I see those things!! (And, God forbid, they take a corner at high speeds...she's going OVER!!!)

I don't think they are making Jeeps like they used to. Last winter, it was a pretty snowy day and I saw a Jeep Rubicon over near the sidewalk, spun around. As I drove by in my 4x4 Tundra, I noticed he has spun and hit the curb and his front tire was bent at a 90 degree angle....well THAT'S not good!!

Some vehicles now have plastic upper sway bar links...PLASTIC!!!

And Ford is recalling half a million F-150's because the gas tanks could FALL OFF.....so much for "Quality is Job 1" with Ford! (Isn't a tank held on by two metal bands and 4 bolts? They must've put plastic bands on them to save a dollar.)

Actually jeeps have always had tiny axles, like since day one. Also composite sway bar end links have been a thing since the 90s.

When I was in the army a lieutenant said, ā€œYou put cream and sugar in your coffeeā€! I replied I am a Sargent in the United States Army, I’ll put whatever I want in my coffee! As for my Tacoma SR 4x4 I am one of the few that can laugh at the rest of you that paid double the what I did for some grocery getter. If I put an axle dump exhaust on my truck it was not for the sound. I drive my truck from Florida to Idaho in two days. I camp for weeks, and come home in four days to visit sites like the Grand Canyon, Four Corners, Gila Forest, Carlsbad Cavers or White Sands. I run 33ā€ tires and get a lousy 13 mpg while dragging my Warhorse Overland trailer. My dog likes it. I have 400 watts of solar panels on top going to 630 ah of batteries on my truck and 200 w panel on my trailer with 200 ah batteries which I use to run my AC off grid when I am south of Idaho. You can see my truck in the driveway 7 months out of the year. It’s a 2024 with less than 15000 miles. I’m the one laughing at all yall driving a TRD. But hey, it’s only money.

In all that post I failed to read the mod that makes you cringe. Disposable income?

He's not kidding. Proper shoes are made of leather unless they're for sport, and sport shoes belong on the court.
I've worn steel toes for so long I would feel exposed in croks...even just sittin' around the firepit with a cold brewski in my hand. šŸ˜…

Sorry, but the nugget bag has always been stupid, is still stupid and always will be stupid.

It may have already been mentioned. My apologies if so.

Guess that truck doesn’t get much, as indicated by the color.

Amen to that! I wear crocks in the house (hardwood floors hurt my feet)....LOVE those things!!

Funny story about Jeeps.....my brother was doing yardwork so wanted to borrow my Tundra so he let me drive his old 2005 Jeep Rubicon for a week. (He goes to Moab with it a lot but tows it)

The Rube has ginormout 30+ inch tires and is lifted...I asked "where's the mini-tramp to get in the darn thing??" Anyway, it was NOT a comfortable ride but I did notice EVERY Jeep I would come up on would wave....EVERY SINGLE ONE!

When I swapped vehicles, I said, "Boy you know a lot of Jeep owners....they were waving at me."

He laughed said, "No, it's a Jeep thing....they all wave at each other like motorcycle bikes do!"

So why don't Toyota truck owners wave? I tried to start it here.....nope....never caught on.
Too many Tacomas out on there. You’d be waving all day, it’d get annoying. I had a Mitsubishi Evo 8 back in the days, and we would quickly flash our lights when we drove past another. But again, they weren’t everywhere.
