Things like Oil Temperature limiters, Engine Coolant Temperature limiters, Air Intake Temp sensor limiters, Knock Limiters, etc., are all rendered useless when the ECU is unable to accurately sample what is happening inside the engine.

We work with and retain these factory safeguards in a way the external piggy-back controllers cannot.
This is not correct. You are implying that JB4 causes most safety measures to be rendered useless. The JB4 is only spoofing fuel pressure sensor and the boost pressure sensor meanwhile using OBD2 to consistently monitor temperature sensors, air to fuel ratio, ETC.. The JB4 also has its own built-in safety measures to ensure it’s not causing damage. I can agree with you that most piggyback tuners do not have built-in safety measures, but this is one of the very few companies that actually does.

I recommend you do more research on your competitor prior to posting such a reckless uninformed comment. It doesn’t look good on your company to make direct jabs at the competition. It would be understandable if someone asked what the differences between a flash tune, and a piggyback tune are, but no one asked.

FYI - Burger Motorsport just let me know my Beta JB4 for my Pro will ship this Thursday or Friday.
I haven’t seen anyone else document one really in the wild, especially an iForce Max, so I might get to be that guy! Will document on the forum for others.

I already run 92 Octane, so should be plug and play.. I’m excited!

I've been running it on a non hybrid 6 speeds for about a month now. Only been on 93 for a week running out old 87. Feels good so far, about what I expected since this is my 3rd manual(first Toyota )with jb4.

My JB4 should be getting delivered today. I have an SR which is factory detuned 50-60hp “just because”. It should be interesting seeing how the JB4 helps this miserable 228 hp. They claim they should be able to get it bumped up to non hybrid SR5/TRD JB4 tuned power levels.
