Lots of great discussion here. I have tuned a number of TRD Pros on the dyno, but none with an aftermarket intake. Judging by the power that they make relative to other hybrids or non-hybrids, I can't make a conclusive claim about whether or not the intake is a factor. I would assume that the gains going to an aftermarket intake would be somewhat smaller on a Pro than they would be on a non-Pro due to the larger MAF housing. If I ever get an opportunity to do the testing on our dyno, I will publish it for sure. For those talking about the intake versus the stock intake on a non-Pro, there are significant gains to be had without a tune, and as mentioned, those are much higher with a tune.
