I am beginning the build on my 2025 Tacoma Trailhunter long bed.

So far I've done the following:
-Decked drawer system
-Mountain Hatch tailgate cover in orange
-removed front inner fender well pieces and mud guards
-285/70r18 Falken Wild peak A/T4W Load Range C 34"
-Rear spring swap from 2026 Toyota Tundra Limited 2" rear lift
-Dobinson 15mm trim spacer added to drivers rear to help remove Taco lean
-Carista software adjustment
-White Knuckle Sliders with kickout

The Tundra springs added about two inches of rear lift even with the Decked system loaded with recovery gear. There was no noticeable difference in ride quality. The spring on the left is the Tundra and the right is stock Trailhunter long bed coil

How's it ride?

I've driven pickups for over years, and I think Toyota hit it out of the park with the new OR suspension. For instance, it takes washboard like no other vehicle.

It rides great, just like factory. I spend a lot of time on gravel forest service roads and although it gave a little bit of lift and a little extra load capacity it isn’t jittery on washboard. I can’t tell a difference in ride. My rear wheel well measurements are 24.5” on the driver rear and 25” on passenger rear when measuring from hub center to fender lip. I originally had about a 1” lean to the driver side with oem springs and with the tundra springs. I added in the Dobinson 15mm trim spacer on the driver rear upper and it brought it up 1/2”. The lean isn’t as noticeable now.

Zero rub with the true 34" Falken 285/70r18 when the mud flaps and crash bars are removed. I have not leveled the front but I did notice that the front came up 1/4" when I installed the Tundra rear coils. When the tires are at the point shown in my pic below (slight turning), its the closest, but never scrubs. The tires have tons of room when pointed straight.

Did you install your decked system the way decked advises or improvise?

I opted to just cut out the small section of interfering top decking with a jigsaw. It takes one minute. The door opens easily. The chuck has plenty of room to plug and unplug and no monkeying around with the compressor control module.
