Just noticed that my oil level might be low. It comes up while driving but drops back down to low while stopping with the engine running. Can someone please let me know if this is normal for the hybrids or did the dealership not put in enough oil at my 10,000 mile service appointment? This is what it is looking like sitting idle.

I would expect there to be some portion of the bar illuminated at idle, but to my point, those are there for psychological comfort. Minimum oil pressure is pretty low I recall, 27lbs I think. It's possible the dealer used 0w-8 instead of 0w-20 during the oil change.

Coming from a 2005 Tacoma, this is a totally different beast. I suspect this might be normal being that the engine cuts out and then kicks back on. I just wanted someone else to confirm this so I can feel better and not have to take it back to the dealership in the morning.

You're sitting at 0 rpm in that picture, so the engine isn't running to generate any oil pressure. I'd be more concerned if you still had no pressure showing with the engine actually revving.

For what it's worth, this is what my comfort gauge shows at 22lbs, full operating temperature (203 EOT)

This is what I finally figured it must be. Like I was saying, I came from a 2005 Tacoma so I'm still getting used to the engine shutting off randomly and having a hybrid even though it's not your typical hybrid.

My PRO does the same. That is normal. When your gas engine is on, the oil pressure is generated and will show the oil pressure level with RPM showing but when the electric motor kicks in, oil pressure drops to nothing, the same with RPM.
