Trailhunter stuck in middle of the river

Crossed this spot many times in the past but never with water levels so high and river so powerful. Usually with lower water level you can see big boulders but now I didn't and chose a bad line and got high centered. Worst fear for me came true.. but my buddy Vaughn was in action hero mode lol

Glad that you okay......................the trucks electronics??? I would venture to say you will find out in the months ahead.

Water and electrical connections are never a good thing. I don't want to scare you but that could haunt you (or the person you sell it to) for years and they are extremely hard to fix/find many times.

Btw, I know from personal experience. My brother had a vehicle that was submerged up to the lower door and he had nothing but problems until he sold it. It was a nightmare.

I know the Trailhunters are designed for "water" but not sure on fast moving deeper water?

Odds are not much water got in. Drivers side is above water at the rocker, passenger looks below but it's downstream. Tends to create a bit of a vacuum effect. With all the electrical that runs on the floor of these newer vehicles though it definitely would make me real nervous for that high of a water crossing.

Yes got bit water on passenger side just a bit and made carpet wet but went under beck seat hybrid battery. So I get all warnings on the dash - Hybrid system malfunction see your dealer, all proximity sensors for self driving malfunction, check engine light... all disappeared day after and everything works fine. When I had warnings truck worked fine just couldn't do self driving cruise control, but after it dried off all is good.

I wanna shut off the seat belt chime so bad, but only for the drivers seat. My wife is too irresponsible for it to be off on her seat.

If you find the right (OTT tuner) in your area they have the ability to shut the seatbelt chime off an and also lowered the AC temp.
