I have been looking for months and doing a lot of research on what type of suspension I should get. In the end I opted for the Trd bc they had a great Memorial Day sale. Plus with the TRD set up it included the upper control arm as well as a warranty. I live in Northern Virginia so I had to rip to Maryland to pick it up. No biggie. A lot of these dealers will not ship because of weight. A long story short I just had my local dealer and do the installation and it’s awesome!!

Looks great! Can you measure for me how much lift you got out of it front and rear? Maybe center of hub to fender? Thanks!!

I’m on 285/70/17 with RRW wheels 17x 8.5 with a +25 offset.

Front is 24ā€ +/- from hub
Rear is 25ā€ +/- from hub

Hopefully this helps

@Jeff11 Im at work and Danny had tone for your measurements. Glad you got em @Viper_00 . Also he has a more modest offset so the measurements may be easier and less room for error to do. I have a more aggressive offset. Still could be done, just easier without much poke.

Thank you very much! Currently I am running the Peak Suspension 2.25" front and 2" rear. They are spacers on the stock front struts/rear springs. I do like how the truck sits, but am looking for a proper, non spacer lift. My main concern is the rear and if the TRD lift springs will lift it as much as it is now, and also if they resist squat better under load then the stock springs. The stock springs just completely say under even a few hundred pounds. Can anyone attest to their TRD lift rear springs load bearing performance?

Go with the 6112s imo. No chance you're getting the performance they offer out of a 2" shock. They're so smooth and just soak up hits. I haven't slowed down over a speed bump since I installed them, quite the opposite, I actually speed up.

You said in another thread that you weren't sure that the performance of the 6112 over the 5100s is worth the money, still feel like that ?

I'd love to see a side profile shot of your rig. I'm @ 23/25 with my camper unloaded, but considering bringing the front up an inch. Also nice to see Toyota doesn't feel the need to extend the end links. I Can't stand all the noise from the King extended end links, I'm gonna throw the OEM back on.

I think the 5100s are a better value because they’re cheap and presumably good shocks. They aren’t going to hang as far as oerformance.
My point was more that 5100s are big bang for the buck. 6112s are amazing, I just don’t think they’re 4x better necessarily, if that makes sense.

The only benefit of the Toyota kit is keeping warranty fully in tact, as well as Toyota being willing to still work on your truck. I’d bet the shocks that come in the trd lift are 5100 level. You’re just not going to get the same performance from a 2ā€ shock as a 2.6ā€.

Iā€˜m parked on a slight decline but there is a small rake stance with the OEM Trd set up. Now I just need some 34ā€ tires lol
