TRD Pro Impossible to Align Properly...

Hello guys,

Well turns out my 2025 has an issue that can't be resolved...

The problem is the thrust angle which is the direction the rear axle is pointing its +0.24 it should be 0.0

The trucks pulls to the right "slightly" where others cars that I own would not....

Do you guys happen to know a fix? dealer is no help and apparently the rear axle is not adjustable...

Any advice?

@james cole If your rear axle is misaligned and your dealer can't fix it, it seems like time for Toyota corporate to get involved. It sounds like they screwed up your truck when they made it, and I would raise hell until they either fixed or replaced your Pro, particularly at that price. If it is a problem that the dealer can't fix it might even be lemon law time.

Good luck. Toyota does not seem to care about its customers as much as they did in the past, but any new truck should drive straight and true IMO.

Well they said its within tolerance... so figure that...

OK- if they claim it is within tolerance then you are probably out of luck. If it can't be adjusted then I don't see what you can do. I guess you could loosen the fasteners on all of the rear axle suspension links, try to move the axle where it should be and tighten everything up again.

Maybe someone else will have a better idea, but I think that fixing a new truck still under warranty definitely sucks. They should have kept all of the Tacoma production in Texas, and they would not be screwed on the tariffs either.

It’s subtle, but not normal imo. Not the crown of the road either because it drifts in either lane on the highway. I am going to schedule service to have it checked because it also noticeably vibrates between 42 and 48 mph.

Mine is subtle too but its there, I don't like to drive pushing the steering wheel to the left a bit.

hmmm... I might be noticing the same thing, and for PDI i wanted my alignment checked before hand but never received the slip stating they did it, but I don't notice it every day, I'm taking it for a longer drive tomorrow so I'm going to pay attention to it, a fix could be adjustable traction bars but they aren't cheap..

Take it to another dealer and have a service tech drive it with you in the pass seat. Take it on the highway and ask him to let go of the steering wheel. When it pulls to the right, ask him what's going on. Let him experience the problem first hand.
