Hello guys,

Well turns out my 2025 has an issue that can't be resolved...

The problem is the thrust angle which is the direction the rear axle is pointing its +0.24 it should be 0.0

The trucks pulls to the right "slightly" where others cars that I own would not....

Do you guys happen to know a fix? dealer is no help and apparently the rear axle is not adjustable...

Any advice?

Thanks

@james cole If your rear axle is misaligned and your dealer can't fix it, it seems like time for Toyota corporate to get involved. It sounds like they screwed up your truck when they made it, and I would raise hell until they either fixed or replaced your Pro, particularly at that price. If it is a problem that the dealer can't fix it might even be lemon law time.

Good luck. Toyota does not seem to care about its customers as much as they did in the past, but any new truck should drive straight and true IMO.

OK- if they claim it is within tolerance then you are probably out of luck. If it can't be adjusted then I don't see what you can do. I guess you could loosen the fasteners on all of the rear axle suspension links, try to move the axle where it should be and tighten everything up again.

Maybe someone else will have a better idea, but I think that fixing a new truck still under warranty definitely sucks. They should have kept all of the Tacoma production in Texas, and they would not be screwed on the tariffs either.

It’s subtle, but not normal imo. Not the crown of the road either because it drifts in either lane on the highway. I am going to schedule service to have it checked because it also noticeably vibrates between 42 and 48 mph.

All lanes on the highway crown to the right...

Mine is subtle too but its there, I don't like to drive pushing the steering wheel to the left a bit.

hmmm... I might be noticing the same thing, and for PDI i wanted my alignment checked before hand but never received the slip stating they did it, but I don't notice it every day, I'm taking it for a longer drive tomorrow so I'm going to pay attention to it, a fix could be adjustable traction bars but they aren't cheap..

Take it to another dealer and have a service tech drive it with you in the pass seat. Take it on the highway and ask him to let go of the steering wheel. When it pulls to the right, ask him what's going on. Let him experience the problem first hand.

Good afternoon guys. Although I own a trailhunter and not the pro, I have had the same issues with the truck polling slightly to the right trying to keep this as short as possible, my vehicle has been to the dealership twice so far, the first time, the dealership told me they get their alignment numbers via the VIN number, and in my case it was in the front of the vehicle, not the back of the vehicle, but when the tech went to do the alignment numbers off of the Vin, he said if he put it to those numbers it would definitely not be right, so my dealership got involved with Toyota tech and they came up with numbers. We found out very quickly in the matter of 3000 miles. Those numbers were severely wrong and it devoured my two front tires on the outside of the tire. I then took it back and Toyota corporate very quickly got involved.
(because I said in the end, I had better get two new tires because it destroyed my brand new tires in 4000 miles)

So Toyota Corporation opened their own case on my truck and kept it for a week and a half and unplugging the battery and taking it God knows where to do whatever they were doing or checking on my vehicle. All of my friends kind of agree we think there’s a geometry issue they got wrong and they’re in the process of trying to figure out the fix, and my truck is just one of those Things they used in doing their homework to get to the bottom of the issue. Now since I’ve had it back for about a month, it does track slightly better and we haven’t seen a great amount of outside tire wear, but with that set, I haven’t driven that much since then. If I hear more, I will update and I’m curious to see if others have experienced similar conditions.
