Price of admission living up North. I sometimes dream of living somewhere where the autos aren’t always a mess. I live at the end of a 2 mile dirt road so my truck is never clean. You wash it, drive somewhere, by the time you get to your destination it’s dusty.

Well I may have dodged the white , but I'm on a dirt and gravel driveway in the country, so I feel your pain on keeping vehicles clean. If there is rain it's muddy, if it's dry, there is dust. Someday I'll win the lottery and pave it.

I would ask you what the fudge fluid film is, but I recently looked it up. I don't know if I could deal with snow and having to fluid film. God bless those of you in the frozen, salty, mess up north.

It's available in fifty-five-gallon drums, so there's that. It holds the dirt, but overall, it's good stuff. I'd take it over the black, petroleum-based products being offered.

OMG, y'all have to use so much of the stuff it is sold in a 55 gallon drum. How does it not drip and stain your driveway? Good thing my father got tired of the white living in St. Louis, and moved here before I was born.

It comes in smaller quantities as well. The amount you use depends on size and type of auto you are putting it on. Once you apply it you want to drive it on dirt roads so the dust and dirt cakes on to the oil to keep it in place. No under car wash once it’s applied if you want to optimize protection

Installed the DV8 trailing arm skids this morning. The directions say "you may need to lightly tap the skid plate into place with a mallet." I can confirm I wasn't using the mallet "lightly." On one I used the floor jack to press it into place. I was glad to get these installed considering the abuse my trailing arms took on my Utah shake-down. These skids were not a want. They were a need.
