Nice! How did you like it compared to the Tacoma?
It’s V6 is on par with the Taco’s hybrid (Google says the Taco is faster, but I had put in Ford’s Performance ProCal module), seats aren’t near as comfortable (seat jackers helped), the infotainment center frequently had problems connecting to CarPlay, and the interior overall is just not as high quality. The design of the dash was just stupid (2025 models looked much better), sound system is pathetic compared to the Taco’s JBL system, but with 35s, higher suspension, and locking front and rear diffs it’s likely more capable off-road.

The interior ambient lighting settings would frequently be forgotten and I’d have to redo them. Regular interior lighting was weak. Several recalls, 2 that still exist with no parts available. One was for the rear shocks and one of those already had the reservoir corrode and fall off.

Soft top was noisy, but not as bad as a Jeep Wrangler I used to have. I heard the OEM had top wasn’t much better.

I like your taste! How do you like the GX?
I like it alot. It drives similar to the Taco and the more time I spend with it the more I appreciate the GX's 3.4L Twin Turbo V6. The IForce Max I4 Hybrid is comparable in the low end (i.e. below 40 mph), but it does not pull as hard once your in the upper end (i.e. above 60 mph). Wife and I have plans to build/mod both the Taco and GX.
