but because so many graduating high school and not going to college were so stupid
Graduated high school (barely) and didn't go to college, metric is the move, we should convert to it.

Signed,

Stupid person (I guess?)

16,333mi (26285km)

No drivetrain issues, just very meh paint.

5 oil changes + diff fluids changed in that time.

Anti metric people are the same as the Freedom fries people. Aside from "well that's the way it's been done forever" mentality, why wouldn't you use the easier and more accessible format?

Ha that’s 35000 eagles per football field for y’all down south
You're doing the lords work son.

2024 Tacoma Who has the Most Miles on their 4th gen Tacoma so far?? 1000003025

Side note, I actually agree America should have switched to metric years ago. Automakers seem to be about the only ones who have. The exception being temperature, Fahrenheit scale is superior.

Yep 32 freezing and 212 boiling make much more sense than 0 freezing and 100 boiling šŸ˜† 🤣

It does when you are talking about air temp and look at it like percentages. I.e. How warm in 60* outside? In Fahrenheit you would think about it as 60% hot, which isn't very hot at all. On the Celsius scale, your gonna be dead of heatstroke very soon. 10* outside? Well on the Fahrenheit scale only 10% hot is pretty darn cold, better bundle up. On the Celsius scale that's not very environments. Fahrenheit makes more sense for casual observation. Get what I mean?

Celsius is better for scientific measurements, which we use already switched to metric in lab enviroments.

I much prefer Fahrenheit myself as from US, but think that is why "we" like it so.
I worked between UK and Norway for years and they certainly would always win the argument.
To me when working with temperatures Fahrenheit is a better scale as much more numbers to go with as say like 68 to 69 degrees. As in with Celsius ya must use a decimal point to get more exact.
I work on a ship built in Germany and adjusting my room thermostat sucks! I keep a digital thermometer on the wall to keep my temp correct.
As well as the daily PMs I do daily are all in Celsius.

Because I think in miles. Frame of reference for the length of a km is not there.

I have no real issue with metric except I can’t see in my mind things measured in it. No frame of reference where miles, pounds, etc are intuitive because I’ve been using them for so long.
