Why is Ice Cap color looks the best only in the TRD PRO trim ?

It’s not that you don’t like the white in any other trim. You just like the black contrasting parts that the pro naturally comes with. Hood scoop, roof. I love the look myself and I’m wanting to tuxedo paint or wrap my roof as well. A sport would pretty much have the same look with a paint or wrap job.

Funny, I just noticed with this thread that the "lower" models have gloss black, while the OffRoad, Pro, and Trailhunter are matte finish... but they look wider too... I'm sitting here not sure if I'd like the wider flares in Gloss black or not...

I love the gloss fender flares on the pro. So much so that I ordered gloss black flares for my truck. I know a lot of people aren't into the gloss flares, but I just dig it ! The matte stuff reminds me of Jeep. I know it's in my head, but gives me cheap jeep vibes lol

Put me on team matte fender flares. I think they look tougher, but it's definitely personal preference. Gloss looks good too but I'm a matte person. Also, what doesn't look good on a Tacoma?!

I like my matte, wider flares. The matte has respectable scratch lines from brush, whereas gloss would look awful with scratches….like poorly applied lipstick.

My gloss flairs had PPF applied the week I bought my truck. The film has some scratches, but the flairs can be recovered whenever they start to bother me.

I have had matte flairs on other trucks, and they get scratches too, they just don't show as much. Eventually though people often just replace them which costs a lot more than replacing the PPF.

Celestial Silver is another color that pops when you do a "Pro" style color contrast

here my truck the day i got back it from Nave auto body two weeks ago
got a dent on roof so i had to remove the wrap on the roof
I replaced it with a two part ultra flat black paint , replaced the wrap on mirrors with paint
had the bumper caps painted flat blk as well .the pillars were painted too
i painted the door tops too , i didnt wrap those & now have a consistent coverage across the top of the truck
the only wrap left is the side panel
i plan on replacing that with a thick Black offroad/racing PPF

Actually the off road and trail hunter have matte black flares, the pro has gloss black. Sport and lower trims have paint matched with the lower trims being narrower flares.

Underground is BOSS.........Ya all crazy

I second that! Underground has a slight bluish hue mixed in, so it changes color throughout the day, giving it that extra "wow" factor.

Parked next to another Underground SR5 at the gas station and here you can see the subtle difference in color between the two.

I’m scratching my head why they don’t offer the OR in Wind Chill Pearl but they offer it on the Tundra OR. I’m settling for Ice Cap I guess.

That maybe the Cement color......but Underground is amazing.......sometimes it looks all black.....sometimes the blues come out in the grey....depending on lighting.............love it!

Cement is not offered as one of the "grey" color choices for any Tacoma models. They're all Underground...but the Pros pop with that bluish grey hue.
