Just wondering about this wind blowing sounds coming from back window are back door of my 2024 Toyota Tacoma SR5, just bought it from my wife's sister about three months ago! I have put the problem on here before and I know most thinks like this if it was a ford are Chevy would have been recalled, but Toyota must be different! WHY?

It shouldn't be happening. I assume you're still under the warranty.

@Sagebrush is right - that is not normal. But I wouldn't expect a recall, since it not something all 4th gens do. You need to visit you dealer and hope that they can find the problem and fix this.

Thank you, I have seen others on here with some of same problem! Some say it is door gaskets, it almost sounds like it is coming from the back window are behind seat!

I've got the same issue on the driver side B pillar. It's a rattle just behind my left ear. I looked at my window weatherstripping and it looks fine on the driver side windows, but the passenger side looks like it's not seated properly. I'm taking it to the dealer after the first of the year to have that checked and my first oil change.
I wish they would have done finally assembly in Texas like the Tundra, but these are Hecho in Mexico.

Thanks for your reply, at least I don't think I'm going nuts now!!!

You by some chance have your ventilated seats on do you? Just a thought I hear them blowing when they are on.

I have never heard of them, my other truck before this one was a 2000 Tundra and it had none of these crazy things on them, how do you stop them if you are not kidding???

@Roger Rabbit do you have a tonneau cover installed? I ask because I had installed mine a little too close to the cab, and the rubber seal/flap would make noise in select wind conditions when driving. I readjusted the cover so there’s more of a gap between the tonneau cover seal and cab…no noise issues since

I have a 2025 TRD O/R with manual transmission and it has a very strange noise that seems to come from the rear passenger side SOMETIMES. It is sort of a wind or fan noise and I have noticed that it begins when I am messing with the climate control. Specifically, the noise happens when I turn it completely off and then set it to run manually without the A/C on (which is not easy to do, by the way). Since my truck has a manual tranny, it may or may not have the 'noise canceling' function that plays through the audio system; I have not found reliable information to confirm that. In any case, I wonder, if my truck does have the noise canceling function, is it possible that turning off the A/C also turns off or changes the noise canceling? I would love it if anyone can provide accurate information about this (as opposed to the speculation that I just did). Thanks, folks!

I have turned just about everything off trying to get rid of the noise, I'm getting older just hope it's not my ear's getting older, but will drive you nuts after driving for a while!
