Wireless Charger Not Working

Brand New 2026 Tacoma TRD Sport and I've had the wireless charger work once - on the drive home from the dealership of all places. It's one week in the shop. I hear Toyota is notorious for shi77y wireless chargers.

Anyone have any solutions before I hound my dealership to fix this?

Wireless chargers suck no matter what. Slow & Make the phone warm up. Excessive heat from inefficient or low-quality chargers can degrade your battery faster. Just my two cents.

My $10 SR5 wireless charger works everytime.

Jokes aside, that's annoying!
Try a different case or no case if you have a case on it. Otherwise like @Sagebrush said try someone else's phone. If none of those work, maybe you have a faulty charger.

Take a peek at the bottom of the wireless charger. Is the light on?

I ordered these off Amazon. I mounted it over the wireless charger. I just have the wire pointing down so you can’t see it. It looks factory. The wireless charger in our 24 was HORRIBLE. It actually didn’t charge it just MAINTAINED what charge there was.
