I installed the Westcott designs lift on my Pro this week with the rear spacer. It was pretty level with just my bed slide, fridge, and our rear bumper. Spare tire wasn't under the bed however. This is how it looked with that setup.

With a carrier and a 35" tire hanging off the back however, the rear was low maybe an inch. Was also pretty soft just driving around:

So I needed a solution. On the shop TRD Sport, I put some helper airbags inside the coils, and that worked great (Air Lift Part 60924, had to fab some upper plates to block off the holes in the top of the coil mounts.) But that wasn't going to work with the Pro's air bumps. So I dug around in our coil pile at Victory 4x4 and found some OME 200 Series rear coils that were the right diameter in the seat and body. Slapped em in (no Wescott spacer,) and it was perfect. Good height, a little firmer ride, plus way more static load capacity. Win, win win.

Here is how it sits on OME 2721s. Longer springs on the passenger side:

I still need to double-check the coil bind and maybe add a bump spacer if that's an issue.

Hope this helps! The best part is that there are 6 options for the 200 Series application, so you should be able to find what you need (data from Toytec.)

Good job. That's a gorgeous truck.

So now we know both OME and Dobinsons have springs for us. It's great to have options!

I've got a thread here somewhere if you search for it. I've got over 2,500 miles on them now and they're great. Same thing though, they were originally designed for the LC but fit our trucks perfectly.

Fantastic build. One of the best looking TRD Pro's I've seen. Do you mind me asking if there is any wind buffing with the roof rack? I currently have the Toyota OEM on my Trailhunter and getting a bad vibration between 65 to 75 mph, thinking about replacing it. Also do you sell the black decals on the side of the bed ? It adds on nice touch on the Tacoma.

No buffing. The rack is slightly louder than no rack at all, but I only notice it with the block out panel of my sunroof open vs closed.

We have the Tunrdra version of the stripe online, need to get the taco version up.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm going to check with Toyota on their roof rack, but what I've heard there isn't a fix for the vibration on their roof rack.
Please let me know when you get the bed decals on line, I definitely want to purchase a set.
Kind Regards

So why 2 different length springs? Is it for weight differences?

I presume the Trailhunter and Pro share the same air bumps? My TH has the Fox bump stop. Does that mean no air bags on the rear?

I have a GFC on my bed maybe 1/2”-1” sag, not much more buildout planned, would like to keep the springs factory but my 1/2 DECKED cargo-glide I have on order is 100lbs (trying to get my local fab shop to build the glide’s frame out of aluminum). With a GFC and possibly running a cargoglide I’m ballparking 400lbs constant, maybe I should go 2723: Constant 440 Ibs, 0.75-inch Lift… running a bed step in the meantime. First world problems..

I would probably just do the 2721s even with that weight. I feel a little oversprung right now with just the bumper, tire carrier, and fridge slide. I think with our bed rack and a RTT on top it would be perfect.

THs aren't supposed to have the Fox hydraulic bump stops. At least they aren't spec'd with them. I'm going to check mine this weekend and see what's up there. It's a cool bonus upgrade for you for sure!

I think that is just the top hat that is ready for the bump? The Fox bump itself looks like mine below. That said, having that blank top hat means you may be able to pull that plastic plug and use that top hat for your airbag. Just run the air line through the hole the bump is supposed to go in.

Yeah - RATS. That's just the plug for the threads where the bump stops screw in. Bummer. At least we know we can go get them if we like, but I'm not planning on jumping my TH any time soon.
