Someone posted that they received a letter from their dealer offering them remuneration because they did not receive the floormats. Worth checking out. That’s odd, I never got cloth mats in my Pro. Was that included in yours @SnowmanJPS or did you buy that separately?
Any pictures of the mudflaps?Picked up a new 2025 Underground SR5 4WD 4-door on 4/9.
So far I've:
1. Upgraded volume knob on my 8" screen to the RAV4 knob
2. Installed Zekzepp mudflaps
3. Installed Magsafe wireless iPhone charger
4. Installed Autosaver88 soft trifold tonneau cover today
5. Added 4-pack of headrest coat/grocery bag hooks
6. Ordered hitch bed extender for my kayaks, arrives tomorrow
7. Moved 64GB USB stick w/ ~2500 mp3's from '12 Tacoma to port on side of screen
8. Added the $9.99 HomeDepot emergency light to the hidden driver side compartment; saved $120 off OEM light
9. Will order the Zekzepp hood insulator when it's back in stock
10. Bought a white Matchbox 2024 Tacoma off ebay, hopefully they release more colors.
It came with Predator steps and heated seats, and was still 10% off MSRP and cheaper than a used '24 from a dealer that would not negotiate on new or used. Can't think of much more to do to it.
Left the chin spoiler on, getting 24-26 mpg around town, solid 26 mpg on 3 day trip this weekend, just as good as my '12 Access Cab 2WD AT; gave that to my son.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that...I'm gonna reach out to the dealership that sold me my truck and ask about a reimbursement for missing "carpet" floor mats.Someone posted that they received a letter from their dealer offering them remuneration because they did not receive the floormats. They were $39 on Amazon, no drill. Fit well, and give decent coverage for stock SR5 tires.Any pictures of the mudflaps?
How are you getting such great gas mileage? Do you have a hybrid? The best I've managed is 20 mpg and that was babying it.Picked up a new 2025 Underground SR5 4WD 4-door on 4/9.

I'm kind of surprised that the mileage is good. It has 4WD and weighs 1000 lbs more than my '12 Access Cab 4-cyl AT 2WD. It does have an 8 speed versus a 4 speed transmission, and I never feel it hunting for gears, so it must be pretty well programmed. How are you getting such great gas mileage? Do you have a hybrid? I figure my gas mileage the old-fashioned way, and I use the Fuelly app for quick calculations.I'm kind of surprised that the mileage is good. Gave the '12 to my son last week instead of trading it in, and he can't believe how well it drives @ 235K miles. Usually averaged ~23-24 mpg overall. It didn't have a computer, calculated using mileage/full tank gallons.
Have the chin spoiler, stock SR5 wheels & tires, keep it close to 2K RPM, and I don't go over 70 on the interstate(if I can help it). Added a soft tonneau cover this week. Almost never hear the turbo whine. Just driving it casually.
We have a '22 RAV4 XLE and the '25 SR5, both beat the EPA estimates. I should do a few tank calculations to see how close the computer mpg is to reality.
Edit: Nice OR by the way. I couldn't justify above the SR5. I looked at the SR to save money, but even my wife noticed the ride improvement with the lack of leaf springs and approved the SR5.![]()
